PARENTS & CARERS

Parents and carers have such an important role. At YouMatter, we want to support you!

Parents and carers have a key role in supporting young people as they face life’s pressures and choices.

We run workshops to provide parents and carers with the tools and information that they need, and empower them to be able to talk to young people about these sometimes tricky topics.

We offer sessions to empower and equip parents and carers to provide a healthy foundation for relationships and sex education. We also run issue-based workshops about the realities of internet pornography and sending nudes / risky sharing, alongside other topical issues such as parenting children and young people in a digital world..

We are able to deliver workshops for parents and carers around any of our key areas of work, so please get in touch if you have a group that you would like us to work with.

We have carefully selected some useful links and information in the section below, including support and advice around what to do if your child is affected by sending nudes.
